The Power of Being Unique, #TheSISTAHSMinistry @MinisterCeleste

God created you unlike anyone else in the world.  You can do things others cannot do.  You can say things others may not be able to say; and no one else on earth is called to live out the mission and purpose that you are uniquely yours.

Walk in the power of your unique purpose...!

#PowerandPurpose: The Power & Purpose of FOCUS, #TheSISTAHSMinistry @MinisterCeleste

Be focus on your future, and live today as a preparation for tomorrow.  Our being today is the result of our act in the past, and what we do today will be determining who we are in the future.  Don’t just live as the days goes by, but live a life that have a purpose. Driven by the purpose.

There will be a storm in your life, but you can make it. There will be a “giant-size Jericho wall” as an obstacle between you and God’s plan for your life, but you can win this battle; because Jesus has won the war!  Have a God-size of dream. Get a bigger vision. And fight for it!

#PowerandPurpose: Prayer and Purpose, @TheSISTAHSMinistry, @MinisterCeleste

When you pray the promises instead of the problems not only will it change your attitude from a victim to a victor, but also God’s Word coming out of your mouth is powerful. When God hears His Word coming out of you He dispatches angels with the answers, He sets miracles into motion and He will begin to change things.
It may not happen overnight but stay in faith and keep reminding God what He promised you day in and day out. Instead of complaining say, “God you said”. Instead of begging say, “God you said”. Instead of describing the circumstances say, “God you said”. If you get in a habit of praying God’s promises back to Him, you will see God at work in your life. His Word and all of His promises are yes and Amen.
"Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24)

#PowerandPurpose: Power of the Promise, @TheSISTAHSMinistry, @MinisterCeleste

If you want to see things change, if you want God to turn things around, find a promise you can stand on. Instead of complaining say, “God you said when the enemy comes in my way you will defeat them. You said you would supply all of my needs according to your riches. You said you are Jehovah and the Lord my provider. You said you would fight my battles, you said what is meant for my harm you will use and turn it for my advantage.” Put God in His remembrance of His promise to bring it to pass.

"O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you."
(Psalm 84:12)

#PowerandPurpose: Power in the Midst of Trials, @TheSISTAHSMinistry, @MinisterCeleste

If God has allowed a trial to enter our lives, we can rest assured that He will equip us with what we need to get to the other side of our problem.    What a burden that will take off our shoulders, knowing how much God loves us and cares for us, and giving all our worries up to His will for our lives.  We can’t help but find peace in that.

"May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word."
(II Thessalonians 2:16-17)

#PowerandPurpose: We are Conquerors, @TheSISTAHSMinistry, @MinisterCeleste

We were made to be conquerors through Jesus Christ, and He loves us more than any earthly parent loves their child. We need to remember that we can stand on God’s truth and we need to keep that truth close to our hearts, just as we are always close to God’s heart.  We need to stay strong through our troubles and trials, and we need to persevere.

"The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him.
(Lamentations 3:25)

#Faith Series: The Character of Faith

Faith and character are intimately related. Faith in the power of obedience to the commandments of God will forge strength of character available to you in times of urgent need. Such character is not developed in moments of great challenge or temptation. That is when it is intended to be used. Your exercise of faith in true principles builds character; fortified character expands your capacity to exercise more faith. As a result, your capacity and confidence to conquer the trials of life is enhanced. The more your character is fortified, the more enabled you are to benefit from exercising the power of faith. You will discover how faith and character interact to strengthen one another. Character is woven patiently from threads of applied principle, doctrine, and obedience.

#Faith Series: Flip on Your Faith Switch... Activate Your Power Source!

Let faith work! Don't try to interfere with the process or tell faith how to accomplish its end. Let it shine. Let it move. Once you have flipped the switch of faith, don't turn it on and off; don't inspect it to see if it's working or not. In using faith, you deal with your doubts or subtle mental/emotional concerns before approaching or flipping the switch. When you flip it on, leave it on. Know, through your conviction, that God is moving with power, and is moving and working in the area you have requested.

Living Life on Purpose Series: Living the Transformation

Some of you are facing some incredible temptations right now. You feel yourself being pulled to conform, to go along with the way your friends are leading you. Don’t give in! Unfortunately, some have internalized the world’s values and fashions so much that people don’t even recognize it anymore. It’s like walking into a dark theater in the middle of the day. When you first go in, everything is really dark. But after a while, you can see normally, that is, until you walk back outside. If you spend enough time conforming to the world, you become so accustomed to the darkness that you think it’s now normal.

Stop being conformed and start being transformed. The word “transformed” refers to an inner change. When we put on Christ and wear his face, we find our lives transformed into his likeness. 2 Corinthians 3:18: “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

Living Life on Purpose Series: Get Your Drink On!

Perhaps things are falling apart. You’ve tried the starting over bit — over and over and over—and you’ve come to realize it’s just a futile attempt at making yourself feel better for a while. You’ve lost all hope in any real new beginning.

Today is a new day. Jesus is offering you what He offered the woman at the well—a new creation, living water. Go on. Drink it.

Living Life on Purpose Series: Being An Ambassador

When we make that decision to give ourselves wholeheartedly to Christ, and He begins that work of recreation in us, we become His ambassadors! We aren’t treated like the naughty boy who apologizes and is then allowed back in the classroom, but in a lonely corner separated from his friends. No, instead we are entrusted with the message of reconciliation. Suddenly our lives have a larger purpose than just earning enough to live comfortably.

When we meet Jesus as our personal Messiah, then our lives are filled with a deeper purpose, then we become His ambassadors, then we are entrusted with the message of reconciliation.

Living Life on Purpose Series: New Beginning

After too many disappointments, hopelessness can happen to anyone. After a while, you may begin to feel that there just isn’t a new beginning for you.  To hope again is scary. If we begin to hope again, we can be disappointed again. If we try to start over once more, we might just fail once more.  But however scary it might be to think of making a new start, that is exactly what the Bible is promising: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”

Power and Purpose Blog Series: The Power of Your Attitude, The Blame Game

For you to blame your bad attitudes on another person or on a difficult circumstance is simply a cop-out.   If you allow events and people to cause you to be negative, you are only hurting yourselves more.  In addition to everything else you are now forced to live with the effects and misery your bad attitudes will bring.

Take time out with yourself!  The reality is that YOU help create the atmosphere in which you live by the words you speak.  When your words are positive, you produce a creative, loving, accepting, positive environment.

Power and Purpose Blog Series: The Power of Your Attitude, It's Your Choice

You can’t choose what will happen to you today (it’s beyond your control), but you can choose your own attitude.  We each have the power to decide how we will respond to what happens to us.

Maybe right now you are feeling pretty broken, your life has taken way too many turns for the worse. A lot of things have gone wrong. It seems like everything has fallen right down on top of you. You’re weary, overwhelmed and your hopes & dreams are fading fast over the distant horizon.

No matter what has happened to you (tough times, bad marriages, health, financial disparity, etc.), the attitude choice though is still yours.  You must understand that Jesus Christ wants to help you choose and cultivate a positive attitude.

Power and Purpose Blog Series: The Power of Your Attitude, Jar of Water with a Loose Lid

Your attitude affects every relationship in your life, and sometimes relationships will never get started in the first place because your attitude has built up walls.  Walls that make it difficult for people to be around you.

Bad attitudes effect your marriage relationships, relationship with your kids, work, church and friends.

The thing that makes a bad attitude so destructive is that like a jar of water with the loose lid on it.  A bad attitude is eventually going to spill out into some negative actions, destructive words and deeds.

Power and Purpose Blog Series: The Power of Your Attitude, Jack-in-the-Box

Your attitudes always become actions or reactions.

The attitudes inside you are like a Jack-in-the-Box.  You turn the little handle, and when you least expect it - he pops out. Now that’s a vivid picture of our attitude, when we least expect it, attitudes will pop out and cause other people to like or dislike us.

Much louder than the words you speak is your attitude that keeps telling people what you are really like.

Power and Purpose Blog Series: The Power of Your Attitude

How important is your attitude? Your attitude is more important than facts and circumstances or what other people say.  It's more important than your past, your education and even your money.

Your attitude is much deeper than just a few thoughts you might think or not think.  Your attitude comes out of the core of your being. Your attitude represents your disposition, your outlook, and your very character.

Power to Remove the Branches #TheSISTAHSMinistry

When the branches from your plants turn completely dry and brown, they are no longer alive.  Removing the dead branches will enable the rest of the plant to become stronger.  This is because the dead and useless branches are slowly draining the substance out of the remaining plant.  It is the same with your life.  Break off the dead branches and watch how you will flourish!  | "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away..." II Corinthians 5:17
